Hello, and thanks for stopping by!
I’m not much of a theorycrafter, but I do like to talk about World of Warcraft in general, and raiding as a Restoration Druid in particular. This blog is mostly my off-the-cuff reactions to those topics, as well as the occasional helpful post on specific encounters. I also dabble in playing as a Bear and Cat fairly often, so you may see a post about that here or there. Basically, I’ll write what I want to write and when I want to write it!
My Toons:
Leiyan is my main character in World of Warcraft. She was the first toon I created, primarily because I wanted to turn into a cat! I started playing World of Warcraft late in 2006, though I never made it to level 60 when Vanilla was current content. In fact, I was a very slow leveler and didn’t reach level 70 until the wee hours of the morning during my Christmas break in December 2007. I resisted healing all the way to level 70, despite usually being forced to since I was the only person with healing spells in my dungeon groups. My spec was a terrible amalgamation of Balance, Feral, and Restoration talents, something only a total newbie could believe was viable. Shortly after hitting level 70, however, I decided to just take the plunge. I talked to my trainer, dumped all of my points, specced into Tree of Life and never looked back.
Haylianna was created a few months before Wrath of the Lich King launched with the sole purpose of becoming my herbalist farmer, since I was dropping Herbalism on Leiyan to make room for Inscription. I leveled her Balance, having somehow come to the conclusion that Feral was just not for me. However, when Dual Specs was introduced, having Haylianna as a Balance Druid when Leiyan was already dual speccing Restoration/Balance seemed redundant. My husband convinced me to give Feral another solid try, so I dumped all of my points and copied the spec of my guild’s best Feral Druid. Going Feral has been the best alt-related decision I have ever made. Experiencing the game from a tank and melee dpsers perspective has been a blast.
